Join Queer & Trans Yoga with Fran on Saturday, 11/1

Need a little QT medicine? Join Fran for a virtual yoga class to benefit helping to open the doors of HYPHAE: Makers Market and Skills Studio this coming Saturday 11/1 at 10 AM. Pay what you wish (suggested $5-$25 or more, based on access and need) and spend an hour unwinding and reconnecting with your body and community. All abilities welcome and able to be supported in this class with Fran’s wisdom and specialized training!

Fran Astino (she/her) is a local yoga teacher & sound meditation facilitator, offering weekly yoga asana classes and regular workshops in Western MA. A certified Accessible Yoga Teacher, Fran’s yoga teaching style is a testament to the belief that everyone deserves a space to explore and celebrate their unique identities. She finds it most important to foster an environment where yoga not only nurtures the body but aligns with principles of equity and justice. She has spent years studying to learn more about the needs of marginalized communities within the yoga space and has made it her mission to ensure that she creates as safe a space as possible for BIPOC, trans, and gender diverse folks.

When Fran isn’t teaching yoga, she runs Fran Astino Consulting, where she helps small to medium sized businesses and start-up owners grow their businesses through effective HR & Administrative consulting services.

This event is part of a series of fundraisers to help open HYPHAE: Makers Market & Skills Studio, a multi-faceted space centering BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ creatives and makers in Western Mass. Thanks to BOMBYX Center for Arts & Equity for serving as our fiscal sponsor in fundraising efforts. Learn more.
