Salted Snail Studio is the work of printmaker Jasper Alexander. His prints contain an eerie sentimentality inspired by internal dialogs, external dialogs, personifications of ecological phenomena, folk tales, stories told over dim light, and the gentle sort of magic interwoven into all of our hum-drum lives. He prints his work by hand onto fine art papers, gently-worn clothing, vintage handkerchiefs, and other various discarded textiles.
